Irina Mappin is living the life of her dreams in the magical Camelot Castle Hotel, a magical accommodation located in the mythical village of Tintagel on the UK Atlantic coast. The views from the castle are breathtaking and the area exudes an ambience that inspires creativity in all of its visitors.  Her husband, John Mappin and fellow partner and resident artist Ted Stourton use the property and grounds as a place of solitude where people can come and dwell, think and create. Artists come from every corner of the globe to experience the spirit of creativity and inspirational atmosphere that the partners have created. Background of Russian Nobility Before Irina Mappin met her husband she lived in Kazakhstan, where she grew up. She comes from a family of highly educated and cultured nobility, whom she had as real life examples to learn from. She learnt the importance of education and truth as well as the importance of beauty and aesthetics in life. These early childhood experiences prepared her for education at a prestigious university in the UK and lead her into her lifestyle today of a humanitarian and entrepreneur. Art Collections Throughout her life, Irina Mappin has been an avid art collector. Art is her passion in life that leads her and guides her. She loves to learn about art, buy art, collect art and teach others about art. She understands that artists and their works are important to every society and she actively supports them in creative ways. She has initiated programmes at the Camelot Castle to nurture, teach, support and encourage artists from around the world, such as the Icons of the Future Programme that allows upcoming artists to come and learn how to become viable in the open market. Benefitting from teachings by Ted Stourton, they leave the hotel with solid business techniques that they were not offered to them in art schools or universities. By supporting artists, Irina Mappin is encouraging and enlightening society with truth.  More about Irina Mappin: Irina Mappin on ZerplyIrina Mappin on Tumblr
